Riley Miara Tabs Fairmont State University For Collegiate Soccer
North Allegheny senior midfielder Riley Miara has signed her letter of intent to continue her soccer and academic career at Fairmont State University.
Miara was a valuable member to a North Allegheny team that went 18-3-1 and captured its first WPIAL title in program history. One of the highlights of the season for Miara came on senior night as she scored two goals in an 8-1 rout of North Hills. The win over the Indians capped a perfect 12-0 season in Section 1-AAAA, another program first.
Miara will study Exercise Science at Fairmont State. She is pictured above with her parents Dan and Sherrie Miara, and North Allegheny head coach Chuck Kelley.
