On National Signing Day, senior Sarah Schupansky signed her letter of intent to continue her soccer career at the University of Pittsburgh.

The talented forward was an all-state selection last season and is a two-time WPIAL All-Star, among other accolades. Schupansky has paced the Tigers in scoring the last two seasons and has tallied 57 career goals. With the help of Schupansky, North Allegheny won back-to-back WPIAL championships in 2019 and 2020 and has its sights set on a first ever PIAA championship this season.

Earlier in the week, Schupansky was named a finalist for the annual Kaitlyn “Moe” Rosensteel Award, given to the top girls’ soccer player in Western Pennsylvania.

Schupanksy is undecided on her major at the University of Pittsburgh. She is pictured above with parents Robert and Susan Schupansky, sister Emma Schupansky, North Allegheny head coach Chuck Kelley and assistant coach Allesandro Moreira.
