North Allegheny girls’ soccer had seven players named to the Big 56 All-Section list for the 2024 season. Earning first team laurels included seniors Maddie Miller and Elliana Vitale, junior Emma Schupansky and sophomore Kieran Shannon. Second Team honorees included seniors Rowan Barsotti and Aubrey Wells along with junior Ava Hutter.

Miller has now been selected to the all-section list three seasons in a row. She was also no stranger to the All-WPIAL team, as this is her second season earning those honors. Additionally, the captain has been selected all-section three times. The defender has been a leader on the back line for multiple seasons, while also totaling four career goals, including one in 2024. Miller is committed to Gannon University to continue playing soccer at the Division II level next fall.

Vitale was a second team all-section selection last season. The captain was a staple along the back line along with Miller the last two years.

Schupansky was solid in the midfield this entire season, contributing four goals and earning All-WPIAL honors. She was a 2nd team Big 56 All-Section selection last year. Both her and Miller were included on the Moe Rosensteel Award Watch List at the beginning of the season.

Shannon produced another great season at forward, leading the team in scoring with 10 goals, following a 2023 campaign where she tallied 15 markers and finished second on the roster behind University of Kentucky freshman Abigail Stager. Shannon earned All-WPIAL honors this season and was also a Big 56 All-Section 2nd team player last year.

Barsotti was a mainstay in the midfield over the past two seasons, serving as a captain this year. She scored three markers this fall, totaling seven in her career with the Tigers. This is her first all-section selection.

Wells is a Stetson soccer commit who finished second on the team with six goals this season, including the OT-winner in the WPIAL Quarterfinals against Mt. Lebanon. She ends her Tiger career with 13 total goals.

Hutter is a La Salle University commit who was named to the Moe Rosensteel Most Outstanding Player Watchlist before the season. The center back scored her first career goal with the Tigers in a matchup against Upper St. Clair earlier this fall.
