Six Tigers Named All-WPIAL, Four Garner First-Team Laurels
Six members of the North Allegheny girls’ volleyball have been named All-WPIAL Class 4A, including four first-team selections.
Earning first-team All-WPIAL honors were senior libero Avery Butcher, senior outside hitter Marin Dunaway, senior right-side hitter Jamie Frisco and senior outside hitter Kyra Schmidt.
Second-team laurels went to freshman setter Molly Robertson and third-team accolades were garnered by junior setter Mack Jones.
All six players have been significant contributors to the Tigers WPIAL championship and current 16-1 record. The six-time reigning PIAA champions will begin their quest for a seventh-straight crown Tuesday night at McDowell in the first round of the state playoffs.
