Three North Allegheny boys’ lacrosse seniors signed national letters of intent to play lacrosse at the next level on Wednesday. Long stick midfielder and defender Kaden Brown signed his letter of intent to play in Pittsburgh at Point Park University,  long stick midfielder Colman Craft officially signed to play at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and goalkeeper Logan Lyle signed to play at St. John’s University.

Brown played in 23 games last season for the Tigers, gathering 39 groundballs and causing 17 turnovers. He will be studying engineering at PPU. “I want to thank my family, friends, coaches and NA School District in preparing me for such a great opportunity,” Brown said. “I also want to thank Coach Golan and Point Park University for believing in me as a student-athlete.”

Craft committed to Hobart back in the summer, but made his commitment official on signing day. The captain had three goals and eight assists in 23 games last spring. He also had 47 caused turnovers and a faceoff win. Craft will study business management in college. “I would like to thank my family, friends and coaches for making this great opportunity possible,” Craft said. “I would also like to thank Hobart College for everything they’ve done through this process. Go Statesmen!”

Lyle made 208 saves in net for the Tigers last spring. He is set to study business at St. John’s. “I would like to thank all my friends, family, North Allegheny teachers and all the school and club coaches who helped pave the way to this great opportunity,” Lyle said.  “I want to thank Coach Turri and St. John’s for believing in me, I’m looking forward to being on the field for the RED STORM!”

Craft and Lyle were both all-section and all-WPIAL members last season.
