Tigers Roll Over Rams, 3-0
North Allegheny continued its winning ways with a 3-0 sweep at Pine-Richland on Tuesday night. The Tigers earned the section sweep by set scores of 25-17, 25-23 and 25-8.
The NA attack was led by Ben Mendes and Drew Hunker, who belted out 12 kills each. Stuffing the middle was Jeremiah Zemet with team-high six blocks. Defensively, Trevor Treser notched a team-best 16 digs. Treser and Nick Bridges tallied two aces each, and setter Sava Topich dished out 33 assists.
North Allegheny remains undefeated at 7-0 overall and 6-0 in Section 2-AAA. Pine-Richland dips to 2-4 in section play. The Tigers will visit Seneca Valley Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. The match will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
