The North Allegheny Tigers jumped on the Panthers early and often and dominated from start to finish, defeating Sewickley Academy, 11-3, in quarterfinal action on Thursday night.  Kyle Rullan scored just 31 seconds into the game on a move from behind the net to put the Tigers up 1-0.  Ted Ednaczyk scored three minutes later from an assist from Zech Nachazel.  The Tigers continued to dominate as Sewickley only had two offensive possessions in the first six minutes of action and Gavin Hagen would continue the scoring with an assist from Rullan to make the score 3-0.  Hagen scored two more times in the half, along with goals from Dillon Dugan and Alec Vissotski and North Allegheny would take a 7-1 lead into the locker room.

North Allegheny scored the first three goals of the second half, building a 10-1 lead and cruised to the victory. Rullan finished the night with three goals and two assists as well as Hagen.  Gavin Hagen was named the Wright Automotive player of the game for his efforts in the victory.

Along with Rullan and Hagen, Ednaczyk also chipped in two goals to aid the offensive attack.  Zach Smith was almost flawless winning faceoffs and the defense from Layne Skundrich, Jack Kairys, and Jesse Schaffer was superb.

The Tigers will now face Shady Side Academy on Monday in the semifinals and you will be able to hear the game on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
