Tigers cruise to state semifinals with 21-3 win over North Penn
North Allegheny traveled to Upper Dublin High School to compete in the quarterfinal round of the PA State Championships on Thursday evening. The Tigers made quick work of North Penn with a 21-3 win.
Sophomore sensation Tabari Morgan led NA with six goals, four assists and three steals. Callan Bunger also had six goals to go along with two steals. Logan Purnell added four goals with three assists and two steals while sophomore Filip Malezanov dished out five assists and notched a goal. Mason Shantz had two goals while Bryce Miller and Sidd Kapil each tallied goals. Captain Mike Stefanko allowed a goal and made eight saves in net. Freshman Gannon Brooks made a save and had a steal.
North Allegheny advances to the PA State Semifinals where they will take on Upper Dublin tonight at 7 p.m. at Wilson High School.
