Tigers Hunt Down Foxes, 3-0
Riding the momentum of Tuesday night’s thrilling victory over Seneca Valley, the Tigers disposed of another section foe with a 3-0 win at Fox Chapel. The Tigers defeated the reigning WPIAL champions by set scores of 25-18, 25-21 and 29-27.
Junior Seth Russell led the NA offense with a team-best 10 kills. Junior Eric Visgitis added six kills and a team-high four blocks. Junior setter M.J. Barton covered the defensive floor with eight digs and dished out 28 assists on offense. Junior libero Danny Lebovitz chipped in with seven digs.
North Allegheny improves to 2-0 overall and in Section 2-AAA. Fox Chapel dips to 0-2 in the section. The Tigers will be in action over the weekend at the Derry Invitational.
