Tigers take fourth place at Upper St. Clair Tournament

North Allegheny traveled to Upper St. Clair High School on Saturday morning to take part in the Upper St. Clair Tournament. The Tigers went 4-2 in the preliminary round to clinch a spot in the gold bracket. In the bracket play, NA defeated Upper St. Clair 25-23 in the quarterfinals before being tripped up by Mars, 25-23, in the semifinals. Oakland Catholic ultimately won the tournament.

Molly Robertson had 30 kills for North Allegheny to go along with seven aces. Reagan Riordan picked up 25 digs defensively. She also had seven aces from the service line. Alicia Mokube pitched in with 23 kills, two blocks and four aces while Keira Duffy added 23 digs and four aces. Keely McMahon-Regan dished out 68 assists to go along with four aces, 10 digs and two blocks. Dede Alualu had 10 digs on defense while Luana Tripon helped with nine. Catie Cooper contribued 12 kills while Paige Shanahan had eight kills with three blocks.

North Allegheny returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Pine-Richland to take on the Rams at 7 p.m.
