Will Robertson Selected To Post-Gazette’s All-Area Team
North Allegheny sophomore Will Robertson has been named to the All-Area Team by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for the 2024 season. Each year, the PG selects a Player of the Year and five other All-Area Team honorees. An indication of a bright future ahead, Robertson was the lone underclassman among an all-star squad of mostly seniors. Robertson was a key figure in North Allegheny’s 13-3 campaign and trip to the WPIAL Class 3A championship and PIAA playoffs. Below is a writeup courtesy of the PG on Robertson for its All-Area Team.
• Will Robertson, North Allegheny (6-2, Soph., OH): Robertson is the only underclassman on the All-Area team and he helped the Tigers place second in WPIAL Class 3A. He was voted to the WPIAL first team for the first time. Led the Tigers with 311 kills. Also had 27 aces, 175 digs, 30 assists and a .318 hitting percentage.
