NA Gymnasts Take Two In Season Opener

The North Allegheny Gymnastics Team opened the season on Monday night with a tri-meet victory over Pine-Richland and Fox Chapel.  The Lady Tigers led the way with 142.45 points, followed by Pine-Richland’s 132.55, and Fox Chapel’s 130.1. Tigers Triumph Over Pine-Richland, 77-58

The North Allegheny Boys’ Basketball Team downed the Pine-Richland Rams on Friday night in the Section 3-AAAA opener, 77-58.  Senior guard Joe Mancini lit up the scoreboard for the Tigers with a game-high 29 points, sinking 9 of 16 three-point attempts.  For his efforts, Mancini was named the Wright Automotive Player of the Game. Five Lady Tigers Named All-Section

Five North Allegheny Girls’ Soccer Players have been named to the WPIAL Class AAA All-Section 2 Team.  Senior midfielder Alexa Mermigas, junior defender Emily Lyon, junior midfielder Savana Yurick, senior goalie Madison Martin, and sophomore forward Amanda Miller received All-Section laurels.  These five standouts helped the Lady Tigers to a post-season appearance and 15-3-1 record…. NA Grad Grant Martens Wins Long Drive Title

North Allegheny graduate (’08) and golf standout Grant Martens captured the Long Drive Championship at the Industry Cup in Irvine, California.  During his senior season at North Allegheny, Martens helped the Tigers to a fifth place finish at the WPIAL Championships.  Individually, Martens finished fifth at WPIALs, eventually reaching the PIAA Championships.  At Heritage Resort… More »

Senior Marty Hubert scored a pair of goals and the North Allegheny Ice Hockey Team outlasted the Upper St. Clair Panthers, 5-2, at the Ice Castle in Castle Shannon on Thursday night.
