MEET SUMMARIES
SENIORS DOMINATE IN NA VICTORY
(1/24/12) On senior night, the Lady Tigers topped four opponents for an impressive victory on Monday night. The Tigers outlasted Pine-Richland, Hopewell, Central Valley and South Side Beaver with a score of 145.25. The closest competitor was Pine-Richland with a 140.
Fittingly enough, it was the seniors the helped lead the way for North Allegheny. Tori Bianco had the top score on the night with a 37.25, followed by fellow senior Tiara Chadran who scored a 37. Thanks to a strong showing on the floor, Kirsten Hauser notched a score of 35.4 while Abbie Porritt added a 33.1 to the NA tally. Brianna Gabriel rounded out the scoring for the seniors with a 25.1.
North Allegheny will finish off the regular season schedule next Thursday with a visit to Fox Chapel.

LADY TIGERS TAKE TRI-MEET
AT BALDWIN
(1/7/12) It was another tri-meet sweep for North Allegheny on Friday night as the Lady Tigers topped Baldwin and Pine-Richland with a score of 142.8. The Highlanders were the host and posted the lowest score of the three schools with a 136. Pine-Richland narrowly fell to the Tigers this time around with a 141.45. he Rams scored a 136.65 for the night and Montour finished last in the competition with a 129.
Tori Bianco and Tiara Chadran led the way for the Lady Tigers as each finished with a score of 36.7. Kristen Hauser also had an impressive day with a score of 35.7. North Allegheny will return to action on Friday night with a meet at Fox Chapel with Pine-Richland. Action gets underway at 7:00 pm.

LADY TIGERS SWEEP TRI-MEET WITH PINE-RICHLAND AND MONTOUR
The Lady Tigers swept a tri-meet over the Pine-Richland Rams and Montour Spartans on Tuesday night with an impressive score of 146.4. The Rams scored a 136.65 for the night and Montour finished last in the competition with a 129. North Allegheny was led by Tori Bianco who tallied a 38 thanks to an outstanding floor performance (9.7). Tiara Chadran took the high score in the vault competition (9.6) and posted a total score of 36.65. Sarah Fritcsh and Kirsten Hauser also finished with top shelf scores to help the Tigers to victory. North Allegheny will return to action on Friday night with a meet at Baldwin. Action gets underway at 7:00 pm.

LADY TIGERS EDGED OUT BY MOON
North Allegheny was narrowly defeated by a very competitive Moon team on Thursday night by a 143.575-141.725 final. The Lady Tigers were superb in the bars and beam events, in large part to Tori Bianco's score of 9.525 on the bars and Kirsten Hauser's 9.1 on the beam. For the night, Bianco's total of 35.65 led the way. Hauser wasn't far behind with a 35.625, while Sarah Fritsch posted a 34.675. Despite NA's best efforts, Moon slipped past the Tigers to hand NA their first loss of the year. North Allegheny falls to 1-1 on the season and returns to action on Tuesday January 3 at Pine-Richland.

NA GYMNASTS START YEAR WITH BIG WIN OVER PINE-RICHLAND
The Lady Tigers opened the Gymnastics schedule with rival Pine-Richland and took down the Lady Rams by a 140.55-136.45 final. North Allegheny was led by Tori Bianco's score of 37.15. She was followed closely by Sarah Fritsch who posted a 36.54 on the night. The defending WPIAL champions begin their title defense with a 1-0 record and will be back in action on Thursday, December 22 with a meet at Moon.
