Three Tigers Make Division I Commitments On Signing Day

Three North Allegheny football players signed their letters of intent on Wednesday to continue their athletic career at the Division I level.

Senior defensive lineman Sam Sheridan signed on with Lehigh University, senior receiver Luke Colella inked his letter with Princeton University and senior left tackle Jake Lugg signed with Harvard University.

One of the leaders on defense, Sheridan was a first-team all-conference pick in the Big 56 with 22 tackles, 12 for a loss, and 6.5 sacks. He will major in Arts and Sciences at Lehigh.

Also earning first-team all-conference honors this past fall, Colella led the Tigers in receiving with 39 catches for 535 yards and seven touchdowns. He will major in Business at Princeton.

A Big 56 honorable mention selection, Lugg anchored an offensive line that plowed open holes for a run-heavy offense that averaged 35 points per game. He will major in Business at Harvard.
