The Kaitlyn “Moe” Rosensteel Scholarship Foundation is set up to provide opportunities and resources for female soccer student athletes who show leadership, passion, character, academic excellence and love for the game of soccer, that translates into the pursuit of academic and athletic excellence into the collegiate level.
The foundation supports those who have the same leadership, passion & love for the game with an annual Player of the Year award that goes to the most outstanding WPIAL girls’ soccer player each season. The accolade has been given out since 2019.
Emma’s older sister Sarah won the award in 2020. After a tremendous career at NA and the University of Pittsburgh, Sarah is currently playing in the NWSL with Gotham FC.
Emma was tied for fourth on the top goal scorers list for the Tigers last season with four. She now has seven markers in her career. Schupansky was a Big 56 All-Conference first team selection in 2024. She was solid in the midfield this entire season and also earned All-WPIAL honors. Emma was a second team Big 56 All-Conference selection two years ago. She was included on the Moe Rosensteel Award Watch List at the beginning of last season as well.
North Allegheny girls’ soccer begins the 2025 slate with two road games in Altoona on August 22nd and 23rd. NA heads back to Newman Stadium for the home opener Monday, August 25th at 7:30 p.m. with a non-section clash against Upper St. Clair. That game will be broadcast live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
