Declan Flaherty Commits To Washington University In St. Louis Football

North Allegheny football senior Declan Flaherty has announced where he will continue his playing career at the next level.
The lineman made his commitment to Washington University In St. Louis public via social media on Monday afternoon.

Flaherty was a starter on the offensive and defensive lines for the Tigers in his final season. In 2025, he was named a second-team Big 56 All-Conference player for his work along the offensive line as a guard.
WashU Football participates in the NCAA DIII level as an affiliate member of the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Bears are currently undefeated and ranked nationally at the time of this article’s release. Last season, WashU was 8-3 overall and made the postseason. Washington University In St. Louis is a full-time member of the University Athletic Association in most sports.
