Five North Allegheny runners penned the dotted line on Friday afternoon to officially make their commitments at the next level for Cross Country and/or Track & Field. Lindsay Breneman officially committed to the Colorado School of Mines, Taylor Neese will continue her career at Bucknell, Andrew Peigh made it official that he will be running for Duquesne next year, Sam Cohn signed the dotted line to continue his career at Slippery Rock while Aiden D’Errico will be running at Mercyhurst.

Breneman is the North Allegheny middle school and high school pole vault record holder, her personal record in pole vault is 12 feet, eight inches. Breneman has lettered three times in track and field along with being a first-team All-American at the 2025 Outdoor Adidas Nationals. Academically, Breneman won a gold medal at Concours National de Francais 2025, is a member of the National Science Honors Society and National French Honors Society along with being a scholar-athlete posting a 4.5 weighted GPA. She will be majoring in Chemistry at The Colorado School of Mines.

Neese has a shot put best of 41 feet, 2.8 inches. She is a two-time WPIAL Championship medalist taking the gold in 2025 and claiming bronze in 2023. Neese is also a two-time PIAA Outdoor Championship qualifier in 2024 and 2025. She was a 2025 New Balance Nationals qualifier. Inside, Neese qualified for the 2025 PTSCA Indoor Championships. She is a four-time letterman at North Allegheny, twice in track & field and twice in fast-pitch softball, a three-time scholar-athlete along with being on the Honor Roll. She will major in Economics at Bucknell.

Peigh has a 5k personal record of 15:37. He is a one-time state champion in cross country while being a four-time PIAA qualifier. In track & field, Peigh is a two-time PIAA qualifier. He is a 2025 individual cross country PIAA medalist along with being the 2024 WPIAL cross country individual runner-up. Academically, Peigh has a 4.36 GPA and is a National Honor Society inductee. He will major in psychology at Duquesne.

Cohn is a three-time letter winner along with being a three-time scholar-athlete. He will be joining a Slippery Rock team that competes in Division II Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. Slippery Rock claimed three individual golds at the PSAC Outdoor Championships in the spring of 2025 and placed third as a team along with claiming seven national champions all-time.

D’Errico is a two-time WPIAL Individual Championship qualifier and one-time WPIAL medalist. He will be joining a Mercyhurst track & field team that competes in the Division I Northeast Conference. D’Errico will be majoring in Business Intelligence at Mercyhurst.
