Art Walker Named Class 6A Coach of the Year, Khiryn Boyd Player of the Year By Trib HSSN
North Allegheny head coach Art Walker was named the WPIAL Class 6A Coach of the Year and senior wideout/defensive back Khiryn Boyd earned WPIAL Class 6A Player of the Year honors by the Trib Live High School Sports Network.
Boyd was also named to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Fabulous 22 last month, in addition to first-team all-conference laurels by the Big 56 Conference.
The honors for Walker and Boyd follow North Allegheny’s 11-2 season in 2022 and WPIAL Class 6A championship win over Central Catholic. It’s the fifth WPIAL title in program history.
