Peter Notaro Makes Verbal Commitment to Alabama

North Allegheny rising senior Peter Notaro will continue his football and academic career at the University of Alabama. Notaro announced his verbal commitment via social media on Wednesday.

Notaro is a 5-star recruit and ranked the No. 4 kicker in the country by Kohl’s Kicking. In 2024, Notaro was a Big 56 first-team all-conference selection going 15 of 17 on extra points and 7 of 10 on fields goals with a long of 47 yards. Notaro’s 47-yard field goal was a North Allegheny record in the Art Walker era for longest field goal. Notaro also kicked 59 of his 92 kickoffs for touchbacks.

Notaro will be joining an Alabama team that went 12-2 in 2023 and has won eight Southeastern Conference Championships and five national championships since 2011.
