Lady Tigers Sink Shady Side Academy For 16th Straight Win
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team hosted Shady Side Academy on Monday at Pittsburgh North Golf Club and seized a 149-180 victory in section play. In the final home match for seniors Luke Minsky and Julian Rau, the North Allegheny boys’ golf team captured a 193-202 section win over the Butler Golden Tornado on Friday afternoon. North Allegheny Field Hockey traveled east this weekend to compete in the very competitive Palmyra Cougar Field Hockey Classic. They battled hard against two state-ranked teams but came up short. North Allegheny churned up 263 yards on the ground and outmuscled the Butler Golden Tornado on Friday night, 29-7, in a Northern Seven Conference contest.
