The Penn Hills Indians won the WPIAL Class 6A title last season and dropped down to Class 5A following reclassification. The top-ranked North Allegheny Tigers toppled the Trinity Hillers on Friday afternoon, 50-37, at the Penn Hills/Wright Automotive Holiday Tournament. The North Allegheny boys’ basketball team led wire-to-wire and galloped past the Gateway Gators, 75-27, at the Wright Automotive Holiday Tournament on Thursday night. Lady Tigers Roll To KSA Disney Tournament Title

The North Allegheny girls’ basketball team maintained its unblemished record and swept the KSA Disney Tournament in Orlando, Florida. The Tigers won three straight and opened the tournament with a dominant 73-31 victory over Townsend Harris (NY) on Thursday.
