Big 56 Conference Tabs Four Tigers To All-Section Teams
Four members of the North Allegheny girls’ basketball team were recognized as All-Section performers by the Big 56 Conference on Friday.
First-team accolades went to senior forward Lydia Betz and senior guard Kellie McConnell. Second-team laurels were garnered by senior guards Caroline Henderson and Grace Heliger. For a look at the entire list of all-section players by the Big 56, click here.
The North Allegheny girls’ basketball team will return to action in the WPIAL Class 6A quarterfinals on Thursday night with a home date against the Upper St. Clair Panthers for a rematch of last year’s Class 6A championship game. The game will be broadcast live by the North Allegheny Sports Network.
