Friday Night at Newman

Posted on:

It will be a busy Friday night at Newman Stadium when the North Allegheny Tigers Varsity Football team hosts the Norwin Knights. This evening, we will honor our country’s military personnel. In addition, we have designated tonight’s contest Elementary Night and Eighth Grade Band Night.

MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT

The North Allegheny Tigers will be wearing “military” jerseys with special insignia patches honoring the six military branches. Listed below are the actual jerseys to be worn this evening:

ELEMENTARY NIGHT

Prior to the game, each elementary school will have a tailgate party on the NASH Multipurpose Field. Elementary students from each of our seven elementary schools (Ingomar, Hosack, McKnight, Marshall, Peebles, Bradford Woods and Franklin) will parade around the field and form a tunnel for the Tigers to enter the field. Joining our elementary students, will be the Tiger Pride football team, Tiger Pride cheerleading squads and the North Allegheny Elementary Cheerleading program.

EIGHTH GRADE BAND NIGHT

The North Allegheny Tiger Marching Band, led by Band Director Emily Rickard, welcomes 145 eighth grade student from Carson, Ingomar and Marshall middle schools to participate in on-field activities during pregame, in-game and halftime.

We hope you join us for a great night of fun, football and outstanding music!

GO TIGERS!
