Jack Bertram named Post-Gazette Athlete of the Week
North Allegheny senior distance runner Jack Bertram was named the Post-Gazette Athlete of the Week for his performance over the weekend.
Bertram finished fifth at the Red, White & Blue Invitational at White Oak Course in McKeesport on Saturday. He was the top WPIAL finisher at the event. The Notre Dame commit finished second in the WPIAL and fifth in the PIAA in cross country a season ago. Bertram also qualified for the Foot Locker Cross Country nationals last season.
Bertram also participates in track & field in the spring where he finished fifth in the WPIAL in the 1,600-meter run last season.
