Jasmine Timmerson Named to Trib’s Terrific 10, Spencer Stefko Class 6A Coach of the Year
In what is sure to be the first of many postseason awards for senior Jasmine Timmerson, the University of Pittsburgh commit was named to the Trib HSSN Terrific 10 on Tuesday.
Timmerson averaged 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals per game during her senior season, which concluded with a 22-6 record, a WPIAL Class 6A championship and PIAA quarterfinal round appearance. At the Peterson Events Center on March 3, Timmerson scored a Class 6A championship game record 30 points to propel the Tigers to a 71-45 win over Upper St. Clair.
On Monday, the Trib HSSN tabbed North Allegheny head coach Spencer Stefko as the WPIAL Class 6A Coach of the Year.
