Jasmine Timmerson Tabs Pitt For College Basketball
North Allegheny junior guard Jasmine Timmerson will continue her athletic and academic career at the University of Pittsburgh. Timmerson announced her verbal commitment via Twitter on Sunday night.

As a sophomore, Timmerson was a third-team all-state selection by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers and helped guide North Allegheny to a 27-1 record and the program’s first PIAA Class 6A championship. Timmerson has also been a key figure in North Allegheny’s back-to-back WPIAL championships the last two seasons.
Timmerson and the Tigers have won 16 consecutive games and will host the Norwin Knights on Monday night.
