North Allegheny senior Khiryn Boyd has been selected to play in the annual PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic for Team Pennsylvania. The rosters for Team Pennsylvania and Team Maryland were announced on Wednesday.

Boyd, a Duquesne University commit, will play alongside some of the best senior players in the state. As a junior, Boyd was named All-State at defensive back after posting seven interceptions during the 2022 campaign. He followed that up with another stellar season in 2023 despite being slowed by injury during the first five weeks of the season. Once fully healthy, Boyd dominated opposing wideouts as a shut down corner and posted 27 tackles and two interceptions and a pick-six against Seneca Valley in the regular season finale. On offense, Boyd was the team’s top receiving threat with 32 receptions for 846 yards and 10 touchdowns. A dynamic offensive and special teams weapon, he rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries and also tallied three return touchdowns in the kicking game. By season’s end, Boyd was named to the PG’s Fabulous 22 Team and Trib HSSN’s Terrific 25.
