
Liam Flaherty Commits To John Carroll For Football

North Allegheny senior Liam Flaherty knows where he will be taking the field this fall. The former Tiger running back and linebacker is headed to John Carroll University upon graduation.

Flaherty was a Big 56 All-Conference first-team selection at running back this season. He was a second-team Big 56 linebacker last season. In just six games this year, he had 224 yards on the ground, averaging 5.2 yards per carry with three touchdowns. He also had six catches for 52 yards. On defense, Flaherty registered 28 tackles with 3.5 sacks while recovering a fumble. His season was cut short due to injury.

John Carroll competes in the very competitive D-III NCAC Conference. The Blue Streaks have 12 Conference Titles with seven NCAA Playoff Appearances.
