NA Bows Out of PIAA Playoffs With Loss To Central Bucks South

North Allegheny’s magical run through the 2023 season came to an end on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 loss to Central Bucks South in the PIAA Class 4A quarterfinals at Chambersburg High School.

In a tightly contested and low-scoring match, CB South netted the first goal in the 6th minute on a marker by Oleksandr Sokol for a 1-0 lead. The score remained 1-0 for most of the match before Christian Canaly gave the two Titans a 2-0 lead in the 54th minute. CB South junior keeper Patrick VanLuvanee made two saves to notch the shutout. North Allegheny senior goalie Dante Accamando made three saves to keep the Tigers close.

North Allegheny’s season ends with a 17-3-3 record. Congratulations to head coach Manuel Montero and the entire North Allegheny boys’ soccer team for a remarkable and memorable season.
