The North Allegheny boys’ soccer team continued its winning ways on Saturday afternoon with a 2-1 non-section victory at Hampton.

The Tigers netted two first half goals to provide the margin of victory. In the 11th minute, junior Noah Hutter scored on a rebound from a Zach Nash shot to put NA in front, 1-0. The Tigers added on in the 21st minute when Hutter assisted on a Nash goal for a 2-0 lead.

Hampton was held off the scoreboard until a handball was called on North Allegheny in the goal in the 63rd minute. The Talbots Luke Fiscus capitalized on his penalty kick to trim the Tigers lead to 2-1. Thanks to the goalie combination of Dante Accamando and Ryan Dyga, the Talbots came no closer and the Tigers prevailed for the non-section win. The duo of Accamando and Dyga accounted for four combined saves.

With the win, North Allegheny sits at 7-0 on the season. The Tigers will visit Fox Chapel on Tuesday in a tough Section 1-4A contest.
