The North Allegheny Lady Tigers finished the regular season the same way they started it, with a win over the Chartiers Valley Colts. Similar to their earlier meeting, the game was close at the half with North Allegheny leading 26-21. Also in tune from their earlier affair, the Tigers busted the game wide open with a huge third quarter.   NA trotted past the Colts, 27-7, in the third period on their way to a 64-43 triumph.

Three Tigers finished in double figures with junior Devvin LaBarge leading the way with 14 points and four three-pointers. Senior Taylor Brennan and sophomore Taylor Lake poured in 11 points apiece. Danielle Wall and Meg Morningstar controlled the Colts in the paint, combining for 16 points and 13 rebounds.

For Chartiers Valley, Kristin Micyou scored a team-best 12 points.  Lauren Herron and Melissa Rickens added 10 points each.  North Alleghney limited CV to just 3 of 20 shooting from beyond the arc and outrebounded the Colts, 34-20.

With their 19th win in a row, the Lady Tigers improve to 20-1 on the season and are hoping for the top-seed in the playoffs when the Quad-A bracket is announced by the WPIAL tonight.  Chartiers Valley’s season ends with a 7-15 record.
