Despite the season ending this week, North Allegheny boys’ soccer senior Nathan Katari is still gaining accolades. The captain was named to the Western Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association All-State Team Friday morning.

Fresh off an All-WPIAL selection earlier in the week, Katari had the assist on the lone goal scored by the Tigers in their WPIAL semifinal loss to Plum. He was tied for the team lead in goals with 10 on the season.
The multi-year starter was also a Big 56 All-Conference 2nd-team selection last season. Look for his name to be mentioned on the Big 56 All-Conference list once again when those are released later this month. Due to Katari’s efforts on the field, North Allegheny had another successful season with a 16-4-1 overall record.
