Three Tigers Named To PA Sports Writers’ All-State Team, Art Walker 6A Coach of the Year
The Pennsylvania Football Writers announced their All-State Team for Class 6A and three members of the North Allegheny football team were recognized as all-state selections.
Senior quarterback Logan Kushner and junior lineman Jack Yatchenko were tabbed all-state on offense in the largest classification. On defense, senior linebacker Tyree Alualu earned all-state laurels.
Leading North Allegheny to a 12-2 record, a second consecutive WPIAL championship and a PIAA title game appearance, head coach Art Walker Jr., was named the Class 6A Coach of the Year.
