
Three Tigers named to PVCA All-State Team
The Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association released their all-state teams on Sunday afternoon. North Allegheny had three players earn their way onto the all-state team. Senior Macey Casten along with sophomores Alicia Mokube and Molly Robertson earned all-state honors for the 2024 season.
Casten led the Tigers in 2024 with 572 digs. She also led the team in aces with 60 along with having 56 assists which was good for fourth on the team. Casten also was named first-team all-section, first-team all-Big 56 and was first-team All-WPIAL.
Mokube came alive in her sophomore campaign collecting 203 kills, good for second on the team. She was big at the net as well leading the team in blocks with 67. Mokube was also first-team all-section, first-team all-Big 56 and second-team All-WPIAL.
Robertson adds to a long list of accolades for the 2024 season. She has already been named first-team all-section, first-team all-Big 56 and first-team All-WPIAL along with being named the 2024 Post-Gazette Girls Volleyball Player of the Year and 2024 PA MaxPreps Player of the Year. Robertson led NA with 391 kills and was second on the team with 250 digs.

All three Tigers were major contributors to a 21-1 squad that won WPIAL and PIAA gold.
