Tigers pick up first section win against Woodland Hills
North Allegheny hosted the Woodland Hills Wolverines on Tuesday night in the front end of a girl/boy doubleheader at UPMC Court. The Tigers were all over the Wolverines coming away with a 70-9 win.
NA scored the first 24 points of the game and led 26-3 after a quarter of play. Vange Balouris had 21 of the 26 points in the first quarter.

The Tigers expanded the lead to 39-7 at the half, meaning the clock would be running all second half.

North Allegheny posted a shutout in the third quarter en route to a 70-9 victory.

Balouris finished with 26 points. For her efforts, Balouris was named the Wright Automotive Player of the Game. Lexi Momper added 11 points.
North Allegheny improves to 5-6 overall and 1-2 in the section. Woodland Hills falls to 0-10 overall and 0-3 in section play. The Tigers return to action on Friday when they host North Hills at UPMC Court at 6:30 p.m. This will be apart of another girl/boy doubleheader and will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
