The North Allegheny boys’ soccer team traveled to Harmony for a match with Seneca Valley Tuesday night. The Raiders scored twice in the first half and ultimately won the match 3-1.

Seneca earned the first goal of the night via a penalty kick from an NA handball. Senior Owen Eastgate scored in the sixth minute. SV doubled the lead off a corner kick in the 27th minute. The corner was played to the front of the goal, deflected, and fell to the back post, where junior Tomis Spudic scored.

In the second half, the Raiders jumped to a 3-0 lead in the 42nd minute from a goal by junior Jacob Prex, assisted by senior Michael Pokrzywinski. The Tigers answered 22 seconds later as senior Leo Yu drives and plays a perfect pass to junior Francis Randiga, who ran onto the ball in the box and scored.

Senior goalkeeper Xavier Zyskowski made four stops in net.

The Tigers fall to 5-3-2 overall and 2-1-1 in section play. NA is back in action Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. for a home section match against Fox Chapel on Alumni Night. That game will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
