Courtenay Carrel  - Varsity Head Coach

Courtenay brings over 10 years of experience to the North Allegheny cheerleading program including:  coach, choreographer, judge, camp instructor, tournament director, and state director for the Northeast Region for Universal Cheer Association (UCA).

Her safety experience and certifications include:  American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors (AACCA) Safety Certifier and Judge’s Course Administrator as well as the United States Gymnastics Association (USGA) training in gymnastics progression and spotting techniques.

Dana Thomas – Varsity Head Coach and Tumbling Coach for Middle School – Varsity

Dana has 10 years of cheerleading tumbling coaching experience, 7 with the NA cheerleading program.  Dana also coaches for local all-star cheerleading organizations.  Her United States Gymnastics Safety Certification enables our athletes to progress to their full potential in a safe environment.
