2010-11 VARSITY/JV ROSTER

2010-2011 VARSITY COACHES

 Head Coach Jamie Kyriazis is beginning his 11^th year as here at North Allegheny as head coach. He is a 1990 NA grad and he earned his undergraduate degree at Syracuse before earning his Masters at Columbia University. Coach Kyriazis was the PIAA Champion at 135lbs in 1990, and then a two time  EIWA Champion at Syracuse.  The coach is presently a physical education teacher here at North Allegheny Senior High.  He and his wife Amy live in McCandless with their daughter Hannah.

Assistant Coach Drew Spencer is beginning his ninth year as a varsity assistant coach.  In High School he wrestled for Peters Township where he was the 1993 PIAA Champion at 135 lbs.  He attended Penn State University where he wrestled as well.  Coach Spencer was an assistant coach at North Hills High School, where he now teaches, before he joined the staff at NA.  He also coached at Peters Township and Upper St. Clair.

Assistant Coach Kevin Wildrick is beginning his 7th year here at NA.  Coach Wildrick wrestled for 13 years while growing up just north of Syracuse, NY.  Before joining the staff at North Allegheny, he coached for Slippery Rock High School and Middle School. He is currently teaching Health and Physical Education in the 5^th and 6^th grade at Seneca Valley.  He and his wife Erin reside in Evans City with their daughter Cecelia.

Assistant Coach Eric Cassidy is in his second year as a varsity assistant coach.  Prior to that, Eric was an assistant for the NA Jr. High team. Coach Cassidy was a four year starter here at NA from 1999 – 2003.  He won a WPIAL Championship and was a PIAA place winner in 2003.  Eric went on to wrestle for four years at the University of Pittsburgh.  He is currently working for SSM Corporation.

2010-2011 JUNIOR HIGH COACHES

Head coach Chuck Bossong is a 1982 NA grad. He wrestled for Coach Gus DeAugustino and played football as well. Chuck coached our North Allegheny Junior Wrestling program (NATJWA) from 1986-88 and then began coaching our Jr. High team in 1989 until 1993 when he began his career as a Franklin Park Police Officer.  He returned to the Jr. High program in 1999 and then took over as head coach in 2003.  He presently lives in Kilbuck Township with his wife Lisa, his son Charlie, and their three German shepherds.  Chuck was also a US Marine and was activated for the war against Iraq in 1991 as a reserve.

Assistant Coach Bill Howell grew up in Punxsutawney PA where he also attended high school.  He wrestled, played football, and ran track at Punxsutawney Area HS.  From there Bill moved on to Theil College where he earned his B.A. in Biology and Secondary Education.  Bill played football at Theil as well.  Upon graduation, he accepted a position teaching 9^th and 10^th grade Biology and Physical Science at North Allegheny Intermediate High School (NAI) and is in his 8^th year teaching there.  He joined the staff with our Junior High wrestling team 7 years ago.

Assistant Coach Dustin Layton joined the NA Jr. High staff in 2009. He grew up in Evans City where he attended Seneca Valley High School, playing football and wrestling there.  Dustin attended Slippery Rock University where he earned his BS in Health and Physical Education.  Dustin is in his second year coaching our junior high wrestling team and the 9^th grade football team as well. He is looking forward to helping our Tiger wrestlers put together another successful season.
