Tigers End Season With Loss To Gateway

Against the playoff-bound Gateway Gators, the North Allegheny Tigers concluded the 2017-2018 basketball season with a 42-29 road loss on Saturday afternoon. North Allegheny was limited to 30-percent shooting on the day, and 25-percent shooting in the second half, as Gateway grinded out a non-section victory.

Sophomore Mike Iuzillino led the Tigers with 11 points and senior Zach Johnson posted nine points and 16 rebounds. Gateway was paced by senior J.P. Kromka and R.J. Stevenson who scored 14 and 10 points, respectively.

North Allegheny ends the year with an 8-14 overall record. Gateway improves to 11-10 on the season and will host North Hills on Monday night in its regular season finale before participating in the WPIAL Class 5A playoffs.
