Tigers open KSA Pre-Holiday Tournament with 55-35 win
North Allegheny boys basketball will be spending the remainder of the week in Kissimmee, Florida to take part in the KSA Pre-Holiday Tournament. Taking place at the Gaylord Palm Resorts and Convention Center, the Tigers opened the tournament against Wayne Central out of Ontario, New York. North Allegheny came away with a 55-35 win in their tournament opener.
The Tigers jumped out to a 15-6 lead after a quarter of play. Ben Coffman had eight points in the opening frame include two three-pointers. NA would take a 25-13 lead into the locker room. In the third quarter, North Allegheny got 15 points off of five three-pointers to expand their lead to 40-25 before keeping control of the fourth quarter to come away with a 55-35 victory.
Coffman led the way for the Tigers with 20 points. Jahlil Archer had 12 points while Blake Craft added 10.
North Allegheny improves to 5-1 overall. The Tigers return to action tomorrow morning when they take on Green Mountain (CO) at 10 a.m. Green Mountain won their game 59-16 over St. Augustine (TX) on the first day of the KSA Pre-Holiday Tournament.
