NA Ice Hockey Tryouts Postponed
On Monday this week, Andrew Siess has resigned his position as our Varsity Head Coach to devote more time to his young family and demanding career. We thank Coach Siess for his dedication to North Allegheny ice hockey and his leadership through his various coaching roles over the years.
North Allegheny Athletic Director, Bob Bozzuto, is conducting a thorough search to identify and hire a new Head Coach and staff for our Varsity team. The sponsorship and support we receive from the North Allegheny Athletic Department remains the backbone of our ability to continue operating as a prominent high school hockey program in our region. As we have experienced in past coaching searches, we are confident this effort will be managed with the integrity and urgency required to uphold the stability of our program.
The North Allegheny Athletic Department has decided that in the best interest of our organization to POSTPONE HIGH SCHOOL TRYOUTS to later date this summer. The AD feels that this pause will allow for their office to thoroughly conduct their search to make the best selection possible to continue with the excellence at the NA Ice Hockey Varsity Coaching position. As a note the district understand that this may conflict with already planned summer vacations and we will make accommodations for those participants to have supplemental tryouts.
The Middle School Camp and Middle School Tryouts will move forward as previously planned.
Registration will remain open and will not close until we have a firm date for tryouts.
