Katie Oates’ Overtime Goal Lifts NA To 13-12 Win
Freshman Katie Oates scored the game-tying goal with 45 seconds remaining and netted the game-winning goal in overtime to propel North Allegheny to a 13-12 victory over Canon-McMillan on Wednesday night at Newman Stadium. Tigers Vanquish Norwin, 3-0
The North Allegheny boys’ volleyball team rolled to a non-section win at Norwin on Wednesday night, 3-0. The reigning WPIAL champions won by set scores of 25-17, 25-19 and 25-23. Two Tigers On Championship Team At America’s Showcase Event
Team Pittsburgh won the 2018 America’s Showcase high school ice hockey tournament and two North Allegheny Tigers were members of the championship team. Two Tigers Named All-State, Rachel Martindale 1st-Team Selection
North Allegheny junior Rachel Martindale and senior Piper Morningstar were named to the 2017-2018 Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State Girls Basketball team on Monday. Despite the cool temperature and rain, both NA Track & Field teams breezed past their competition in their final sectional meet of the season.
