Boys Basketball falls to Green Mountain (CO) on Day 2 of KSA Pre-Holiday Tournament
Coming off a 55-35 win on Thursday, the Tigers drew Green Mountain (CO) on the second day of the KSA Pre-Holiday Tournament on Friday morning. North Allegheny battled but ultimately fell by a score of 55-42.
NA trailed 12-11 after a period of play. Separation came in the second quarter when Green Mountain (CO) outscored North Allegheny 18-7 and the Tigers trailed 30-18 at the half. NA made up some ground in the third quarter but still trailed 37-28 going into the final frame. In the fourth quarter, Green Mountain (CO) was able to stave off the Tigers and North Allegheny fell 55-42.
Blake Craft led the Tigers in scoring with 11 points. Justin Stalter added 10 points.
North Allegheny falls to 5-2 overall. The Tigers return to action tomorrow, when they finish tournament play against McDowell at 2:30 p.m. before heading back to Wexford.
