Chris Costa Named PIHL Player of the Month

After a hot start to the ice hockey season, North Allegheny sophomore Chris Costa was named PIHL AAA Player of the Month for October.
The goaltender is a big reason NA is near the top of the classification standings so far in 2025-26. In five games, Costa is a perfect 5-0 with a 1.20 goals against average and .955 save percentage. Those numbers lead AAA players in all three categories.
Costa has only surrendered more than one goal once in five starts.
North Allegheny is 5-1 in the young season. The team is back in action Thursday night against Mt. Lebanon on the road. Puck drop is slated for 9:10 p.m.
