
Four Tigers Contribute In PIHL All-Star Game Win

Four North Allegheny ice hockey team members participated in the PIHL AAA All-Star Game Sunday and contributed to an 8-4 Blue Team win over the Gold Team at the RMU Island Sports Complex.
AAA Blue was trailing 2-1 heading into the middle period. The Blue team knotted the game up about five minutes into the frame. Seven seconds later, Tigers senior Marc Joyson scored assisted by Andrew Malichky and Owen Mucho to give AAA Blue the first lead of the contest. Later in the period, senior William Kasunich picked up an assist on a marker from Cam Lorenzi to make it 5-4 Blue.
Kasunich opened up the scoring in the third period, adding an even-strength insurance goal two minutes in assisted by Liam Copeland and Andrew Malichky. Junior Noah Logan and senior Cam Junker also contributed, with Junker starting in net for AAA Blue and stopping 13 of 15 shots faced.
