Two North Allegheny Football players have been selected to the Pennsylvania Football Writers Class 6A All-State Team.  Senior Jack Yatchenko and junior Lincoln Hoke made the All-State team as an offensive and defensive lineman respectively. The list was provided by PA Football News.

Yatchenko is a three-time first-team Big 56 offensive lineman. The Princeton football commit has also played a role on the defensive side of the ball, racking up 15 tackles. Earlier this season, he was named a finalist for the Bill Fralic Memorial Award.  He is also a multi-sport athlete who has spent time on the track and field team.

Hoke accumulated 66 tackles, 37 unassisted, with nine tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two blocked kicks and one interception. He also helped the Tigers rush for 171 yards per game as an offensive lineman. The two-way starter was named 2nd Team All-State by PennLive earlier this week.

Hoke was named a first-team Big 56 All-Conference defensive lineman, a member of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Fab 22 Team,  a member of the TribLive HSSN Terrific 25 Football All-Star Team and a member of the Pittsburgh Union Progress All-Star Team earlier this season. The junior is a multi-time Big 56 selection, earning first-team offensive line honors last year.
