NA Blasts Blackhawk To Wrap Up Regular Season

The North Allegheny boys’ basketball team trounced the Blackhawk Cougars in the regular season finale on Monday night, 80-39, ahead of the WPIAL playoffs.

The Tigers pounced on the Cougars for a 50-18 halftime lead and coasted to the win in the second half.  North Allegheny had five players finish in double figures with Keegan Phillips topping out with 16 points.  Curtis Aiken and Will Sandherr scored 12 points each, Griffin Sestili added 11 and Jordan Lake netted 10.  Blackhawk was led by Isaiah Ellis with 12 points.

North Allegheny ends the regular season with a 20-2 record.  The Tigers will take part in the playoffs this weekend and await their seeding following today’s WPIAL playoff pairings meeting.
