NA Picks Up Win Over Shaler In Section Opener
Facing a short-handed Shaler team on Wednesday night, the North Allegheny Tigers collected an 84-0 win in the season opener. With the help of 11 forfeits, the Tigers coasted to the win in Section 3-B.
Of three bouts that took place, NA’s wrestlers earned three wins by fall. Freshman Nicholas Gorman pinned Brad Yeager at 106 pounds, freshman Adam Rohan pinned Josh Maida at 132 pounds, and VMI commit Freddy Junko pinned Callun Montgomery at 145 pounds.
Following the season-opening win, North Allegheny will travel to Mount Aloysius College to take part in the Panther Classic this weekend.
