NA rolls Franklin Regional at Shootout at Saint Vincent

North Allegheny traveled to the Carey Center at Saint Vincent College to take on the Franklin Regional Panthers in the night cap of the Shootout at Saint Vincent. The Tigers had a great night offensively posting their second highest point total of the season in a 64-37 route of the Panthers.

NA got six points from Cole O’Neil in the opening period and led 17-11 after a quarter of play. Five Tigers scored in the second quarter and North Allegheny scored 19 total points and took a 36-21 lead into halftime.

Blake Craft exploded for 13 points in the third quarter and the Tigers really created separation leading 54-30 going into the fourth quarter. In the final frame, NA held Franklin Regional to seven points and finished off the 64-37 victory.

Craft finished with 20 points. Jahlil Archer added 12 points while O’Neil had 10.

North Allegheny improves to 8-12 overall. Franklin Regional falls to 11-7. The Tigers return to action on Tuesday when they take the short trip to North Hills High School to take on the Indians at 7:30 p.m.
