NA Wrestling Slams Knoch, 67-10
With the help of five forfeits, the North Allegheny Tigers breezed by the Knoch Knights in Section 3 action on Wednesday night, 67-10. Adding to the forfeits, the Tigers collected five pin falls in a dominating performance. Earning pins was senior Scotty Stossel (120), A.J. Boeh (138), Clay Byerly (182), Layne Skundrich (220) and Mark Littlefield (285). Knoch won only two bouts on the night, at 160 and 195 pounds.
With the win, North Allegheny moves to 2-0 overall and in Section 3. The Tigers return to the mat tonight in a tough non-section battle with the Belle Vernon Leopards. Start time at NASH is at 7:00 pm.
